St Mary's enjoys the patronage of The Church Pastoral Aid Society (CPAS). The Society is an Anglican evangelical mission agency working with churches mainly in the UK and the Republic of Ireland providing them with support. Its mission is to enable churches to help every person hear and discover the good news of Jesus Christ.
It also has responsibility (in collaboration with church, diocese and where relevant other patrons) to nominate candidates to fill vacancies.
