We will be welcoming the Bishop of Bristol on Wednesday 26th November at 7.30pm who will be taking a service of confirmation.
Confirmation is the way Anglican Christians formally declare their commitment to follow Christ, becoming full adult members of the church. It follows baptism, which has either taken place in childhood or later in life.
If you have not already been baptised this can take place either within the confirmation service or beforehand.
Back to Church Sunday is a national initiative to invite people to return to church. St Mary's PCC have decided to take part. All services on 28 September will be especially aimed at those who don't usually come to church. Invitations will be printed and available from 14 September at church.
